This is really strange, where a religion means love, peace and harmony, has become a reason of violence, intolerance and differences. How a person from one religion is different from the other? Are their blood colours different or they have some extra limbs? It is a serious matter for us because now a days everything is revolving around religions.

Governments are winning elections on the basis of religions, people are fighting for religions, media is getting more coverage on religions. If a girl is getting raped, then instead of talking about her justice people are linking the case with religions. They have become so blind that they cannot see the pain of a person who is suffering because of this “so called religion”.

Not only in India, but in Pakistan, Africa, Syria, Iraq, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nigeria, etc. are also affected by religious conflicts. The much talked about danger for the world, “terrorism” is also an outcome of religious conflicts. Actually this conflict arises when one challenges the core identity of one’s religion. But sometimes it becomes essential to question about one’s religion when some people tries to harass someone in the name of religion. For example, Triple talaaq, Halala, mob violence, etc. How a religion can teach someone to harass, to discriminate? Lord Rama is not going to be happy if you shout his name for the sake of irritating someone neither Allah is going to bless you if you kill or harass someone.

Remember one thing, ultimately we all are humans created by one creator doesn’t matter whether it’s Allah, Lord Krishna or Jesus. The main purpose of our creation is to do our respective works and leave a mark by our good deeds and spread love and peace. If your religion teaches you hatred, jealousy, violence then it is not a religion, it is a manipulation.

Follow your ‘karma’ (deeds), do good to people and if you can’t then atleast don’t harm anyone. Because at the end “Karm hi sabse bada dharm hai” (deed is the biggest religion).
